Education and occupational History:February 1982 ,he graduated from the Southwest Agricultural University with a bachelor's degree;
December 1987,he graduated from the University of Bath College of Biological Sciences, ph.d.;
From 1988 to December 1990, he completed postdoctoral research at University of Bath and Beijing agricultural university ;
1996 to 1998, he successively had short-term works at the Cornell University and the United States Purdue University;
1999 to 2015, he held
the post of dean of College of food science and Nutritional Engineering of China Agricultural University for 4 consecutive terms;
He gives lectures in the United States, Britain, South Korea, Italy, Thailand, Canada, Holland and other countries .
